About the Author

Alexandra R., MD

After completing her coursework a semester early in December of 2013, Alexandra Rzepecki officially graduated with the University of Michigan Class of 2014 with Summa Cum Laude recognition and her BS in Neuroscience. Continuing her education at the University of Michigan Medical School, Alex completed her MD in 2019. During her time in medical school, Alex not only achieved honors in Pediatrics, OB/Gyn, Psychiatry, Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology, but was also a recipient of both the Young Investigator Award and Rising Derm Star Award for her research. She also served as a student interviewer for the University of Michigan Medical School Admission Committee. Recently, Alex matched into the Dermatology Residency at Einstein-Montefiore Medical Center, ranked among the top 25 training programs in Dermatology. She also matched into the transitional year residency program at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center, a program universally considered the most competitive medicine internship in the country.
