Double majoring in Chemistry and Biology at Winthrop University in South Carolina, Amy Petty graduated as a Phi Beta Kappa with honors recognition in 2012. Matriculated that same year in Duke Medical Scientist Training Program, Amy achieved honors in all her clinical rotations. Amy recently graduated from Duke after completing her MD and PhD in molecular cancer biology/immunology. She will be completing her residency training in Dermatology at Duke University Medical Center starting in 2022. She is a recipient of a prestigious research grant from the NIH and a published academic author. Her work can be found here.
