Jake has extensive experience in tutoring and in medicine. As a chemical engineering major, he began tutoring as a calculus peer leader. Later in medical school he was a tutor, primarily focusing on basic science for early medical students. He has mentored a number of medical students both as a student himself, as a resident, and as a fellow. Jake’s approach to learning is building a foundation of physiology into common medical cases to answer board questions of any difficulty with confidence.
