Before medical school, Emma Horowitz earned her MBA in Health Care Management and graduated summa cum laude from Union College. At Albany Medical College, where she is currently a fourth-year medical student applying to pediatrics with an interest in pediatric cardiology, she received a Distinction in Health Systems Analysis for developing an emotional intelligence training program. Emma is a certified EQi-2.0 coach, the lead student investigator on multi-institutional pediatric neuro-oncology studies, and a published author in both narrative medicine and neuro-oncology. She has presented her work nationally on emotional intelligence, leadership, and innovation in medical education.
