Over the last eight years, Iulia has served as a teaching assistant for biomedical engineering courses, MCAT tutor, medical school application advisor, both a Student Clinical Skills Preceptor and surgery clerkship Halsted Teaching Preceptor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is currently a General Surgery Intern at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
A big reason why I love medicine so much is the teaching and mentorship involved; after looking up to my mentors as a college and medical student, I jumped at the opportunity to continue helping my peers!
