What James' students are saying
My session with Dr. Boothe went well. I enjoyed his thoroughness with getting to know me and what my plans were for applying to residency...he answered all my questions about aspects of both ERAS and the application process. We were also able to do a high level review of my school list and discuss the supplemental ERAS application.
I thought James was very professional, straightforward, and willing to assist me. He understood my concerns and made recommendations to change up my studying. James was attentive and focused on our session. Overall, he was great and I would recommend him to future students.
James was delightful. He was extremely patient with me and made a real effort to try and get to know me and the struggles that I face with this exam. What surprised me was how complete the session felt. In a span of 2 hours, he helped me: decide on whether to take the exam scored or P/F, pick a test date, and even discussed my residency goals and how my score would play into them. There was no "fluff" in our conversation and I felt like we ended the session with actionable steps I could take. In other words, it did not feel like he was giving me "samples" of advice to try and push me to buy more time with him to access the "real advice.
We look forward to being your partners in medical school exam success!
