Kevin Labadie is a fellow in complex general surgical oncology at the City of Hope Cancer Center. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduated in the top of his class at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He earned the Graduate Honors Award from the UCI Department of Surgery for his top performance in the surgery clerkship and sub-internship.
I love helping my patients understand complex problems. Similarly, I am driven to help my students understand complicated material and to experience joy in learning. Through increasing fund of knowledge and improving clinical reasoning, I hope to build my student's confidence for the wards, the classroom and on test day.
