Kevin Tang graduated from Brown University in 2017 with a BA in Biology as part of the 8-year combined baccalaureate-MD Program in Liberal Medical Education, continuing directly as an MD student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. During medical school, he led multiple interest groups while serving in leadership positions for national student advocacy organizations including the American Medical Association and the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association, working to advance policy initiatives towards improving Asian American health and equity. Between his third and fourth year of medical school, Kevin took a gap year to pursue a Master of Management Science in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing as part of the Schwarzman Scholars Program, graduating in June, 2021. Kevin has published in several peer- reviewed journals and has a diverse set of research interests, including medical education, health policy, and health technology.
