As the first in my family to pursue medicine, I realize that there is so much to be learned from others in the field who were just in your shoes. Therefore, I have consistently positioned myself as a resource to other students. Olivia Negris graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 and earned a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in 2019 where she earned the Service Award for her class. Upon graduating, Olivia began working as a research coordinator at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and began her medical training at Rush Medical College where she is currently a 4th year medical student. She has received numerous academic awards including Alpha Omega Alpha, Gold Humanism Honor Society, and her class’s Leader Role Distinction.
