About Me

Quinton's Education

Quinton grew up on a farm in Indiana before heading off to Purdue University where he could combine his agricultural heritage with his plans to study medicine. Quinton was recognized with the G.A. Ross Award, bestowed upon the University’s top graduating male when he graduated with honors in Biochemistry and double minors in Spanish and Global Studies. Quinton began his medical training at Indiana University School of medicine, where he first began tutoring students for Step 1 and shelf prep. He was also the president of the Emergency Medicine Student Interest Group where he helped counsel medical students on Emergency Medicine, away rotations and matching into residency. Quinton was fortunate to match into his top residency program at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) where he continued to educate Wake Forest University and University of North Carolina Medical Students by leading shelf prep and critical care procedures, and ultrasound training sessions. Quinton is currently one of the Chief Residents at CMC where he is wrapping up his residency training.
