Ria is currently a 4th year medical student at Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM), where she received a Certificate of Academic Excellence, recognition in the Clinical Sciences Deans List, and the Empower Scholarship Award.
I love teaching students about the material that I’m so passionate about as a medical student. I hope that I’m able to motivate and mentor students the way that previous tutors have for me!

Ria attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she graduated in 2020 with a degree in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics and a minor in Human Development. She currently is a 4th year medical student at Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM), where she received a Certificate of Academic Excellence, recognition in the Clinical Sciences Deans List, and the Empower Scholarship Award. She has co-founded a philanthropic organization called Happy Healing Inc., engaged in several research and Quality Improvement projects, and served as the Chairperson for RUSM’s Curriculum Committee.
