Samantha Stein graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with a BA in English. Prior to matriculating to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Sam worked as a research assistant in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Columbia University. She has extensive experience in education as a former critical writing instructor, MCAT tutor, and teaching assistant for various medical school courses. In 2021, Sam was inducted into the Arnold P Gold Humanism Honor Society. Sam is a published academic author whose work can be found here
